As a social and digital marketer, I believe one thing holds true in today’s dynamic digital landscape: It’s easy to build and maintain your online brand poorly; it takes skill to do it impressively. As such, it’s crucial to have someone managing your web presence who is ready, willing, and able to build your online brand with expert understanding and responsiveness.
Since 2014, I have held online brand management roles for such companies and organizations as Avalara, Ooligan Press, Portland Review, and Zeal Books. Such a role can be called many things — Web Editor, Digital Consultant, Social Media Manager — but the desired result is always the same: Build and manage compelling campaigns across multiple platforms with the goals of driving consumer traffic, acquisition, and engagement.
